「いとをかし香
【抹茶】」について
This incense is not lit directly like incense sticks, but rather heated to release its fragrance.
Each incense is made by hand using fresh matcha green tea* purchased directly from local tea factories and tea farmers in Uji.
To enjoy the fresh aroma of matcha, we recommend that you use it within 3 months after opening the package.
The matcha used as ingredients is currently all food-loss matcha (matcha that is not sold as food, which is inevitably created during the production process and accumulates between machines and equipment).
お線香のように直接火を点けるのではなく、温めて香りを出すお香です。
地元宇治の製茶工場や茶農家さんから直接仕入れた新鮮なお抹茶（※）を使い、一つ一つ手作業でお作りしています。
抹茶の新鮮な香りをお楽しみいただくため、開封後３か月以内にお使いいただくことをおすすめいたします。
※原材料として使用しているお抹茶は、現在全てフードロス抹茶（製造工程において必ずできる、機械や装置の間に溜まった、食品として販売されない抹茶）となります。

少し慣れた方に～
「アロマポット」で楽しむ
~Enjoy with an aroma pot~
Select a candle with a relatively close distance between the flame and the upper dish (heated at high temperature).
If the distance is too great or the flame is too small (heated at a low temperature), the fragrance may not be released.
Please handle fire with care.
キャンドルの炎と、上皿の距離が比較的近いもの（高温で温める）をお選びください。
距離が遠かったり炎が小さい（低温で温める）と、香りが出ない時があります。
火の取扱いには充分ご注意ください。
お香上級者の方に～
「空薫（そらだき）」で楽しむ
～Enjoy with charcoal and ash
The same method is used for burning powdered fragrant wood, kneaded with various aromatic herbs and resins, or incense powder, kneaded and hardened into a plum blossom shape, and then dried.
If you are too close to the charcoal, smoke will be produced, and if you are too far away, no fragrance will be produced.
It takes some skill to get used to this method, but you will enjoy the time you spend waiting for the charcoal to be made and the fragrance to be released.

粉末にした香木に、調合された各種の香草や樹脂類を蜜などで練り固めた練香や、香料の粉を練り固めて梅花形などに型抜きして乾かした印香などを焚く時と同じ方法です。
炭からの距離が近いと煙が出てしまい、又遠いと香りが出ません。
慣れるまでは技術がいりますが、炭が熾って香り立つまでを待つ時間もお楽しみいただけます。
